It is the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society´s aim, to spread knowledge about this specific topic within the region. Lunch Symposium
An outstanding faculty with a positive interaction from the audience had been present at the Getinge Lunch Symposium. Dr. Mohamad Hamady from the Imperial College of London presented the Reliable Performance of Advanta V12 in complex cases, along with Dr. Sebastian Carpenter from the University Hospital Hamburg in Germany, who presented the importance of using proven covered stents to treat complex Aortoiliac Occlusive Disease (AIOD). We would like to thank all involved partners for their contribution to this session!
Workshop
During our Simulation Training all participants of the course had the opportunity to learn about the different scenarios in an Open Surgery.
Three simulators had been displayed during the workshop:
- AAA Model for abdominal surgery
- Leg Model for bypass surgery
- Thoracic model for Aortic Root and Arc Surgery
