Endovascular surgery is a minimally invasive procedure that involves using catheters and other tools to access the inside of blood vessels, allowing doctors to treat a variety of conditions, including aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, and deep vein thrombosis. Endovascular surgery is becoming increasingly popular, as it is less invasive than traditional open surgery, has a shorter recovery time, and often results in fewer complications.

The training was held for 4 days from May 8-11 covering 2 days of Vascular and 2 days of Endo (Advanta V12) with one of Getinge’s global trainers Sunny Bazzi coming from the USA. The diverse range of attendees represented countries such as Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Kenya, Mauritius, Algeria, and Egypt.
