Getinge Middle East collaboration with The Kuwait Ministry of Health.
Kuwait to date, is one of strongest markets for Infection Control in the Middle East. Getinge ED-Flow install base in this region is expanding, along with a customer demand for endoscopy clinical know how and decontamination best practice.
For this reason, a Global Endoscopy Team (BA, ComOps & Academy) merged efforts to collaborate with a Middle East SSU to deliver an impacting event in Kuwait MoH.
This event included ED-Flow hands-on training, Introduction to Endoscopy, Endoscope Anatomy & Clinical Application and Endoscope Reprocessing, whereby an approach to best practice for both Manual & Automated was introduced.
Liz Perkins, (Training Portfolio Manager, Getinge Academy CoE SW), who has a strong background in endoscopy decontamination knowledge, as well as clinical experience, travelled to Kuwait to deliver the endoscopy sessions with more than 70 people in attendance.
These included technicians, clinical nurses, clinicians and KOLs from around the country, to help reinforce the fact that Getinge comes with a wealth of distinguished endoscopy knowledge within endoscopy decontamination and communicate our commitment to deliver great customer support.
