The primary objective of Mrs. Lulwa Khamis's visit was to seek innovative, tailor-made automation solutions for CSSD in Kuwait. Being responsible for the largest CSSD in the Middle East and Africa, Mrs. Khamis recognized the need for advanced automation solutions to address the increasing workload and handling challenges faced by CSSD technicians. Her visit to Sweden and Denmark was an opportunity to experience European healthcare automation solutions firsthand and engage in discussions with end-users. This experience would solidify her confidence in the ability of these solutions to tackle Kuwait's specific healthcare challenges effectively.

The visit's agenda was filled with informative and insightful activities. In Sweden, the Kuwaiti delegation had the privilege of visiting Sahlgrenska University Hospital (Östra Hospital), where they had discussions about the new features of the GSS67H sterilizer. This provided valuable insights into the latest sterilization technologies and their potential benefits for Kuwait's healthcare sector. Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to tour Getinge's manufacturing facilities, offering a glimpse into the state-of-the-art processes behind these innovative healthcare solutions.

Upon traveling to Copenhagen, Denmark, the Kuwaiti delegation continued their exploration. They visited the Regional CSSD in the Capital Region of Denmark, gaining exposure to Denmark's CSSD practices and technology adoption. Furthermore, the delegation visited Getinge's DHS HQ and the T-DOC Centre of Excellence, which showcased the central role of technology in modern healthcare management and sterilization processes.

The visit of the Kuwaiti delegation to Sweden and Denmark represents a significant step toward enhancing healthcare services in Kuwait. Mrs. Lulwa Khamis's quest for innovative automation solutions underscores the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in the global healthcare community. The insights gained from this visit are expected to pave the way for the implementation of state-of-the-art healthcare technologies in Kuwait, ultimately improving the quality of care for patients and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare operations in the country. As healthcare continues to evolve globally, such cross-border partnerships and exchanges of expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
