On 7 September 2023 a ground-breaking event took place - the Masters of Resuscitation pre-congress Workshop. Hosted by the distinguished Hugo Minnaar (Critical Care Technologist) and his dedicated team, this workshop marked a significant milestone in the field of resuscitation. Endorsed by the ECMO Society of South Africa (ECMOSA), the event was a platform for healthcare professionals to elevate their expertise in Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) and the use of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

In early September, a distinguished Kuwaiti delegation embarked on a journey to Sweden and Denmark to explore cutting-edge healthcare solutions and automation technologies. The visit, which lasted from the 4th to the 7th of September, aimed to address the challenges faced in Kuwait. Mrs. Lulwa Khamis, the head of Super CSSD – Infection Control directorate in Kuwait and Mrs. Haya Khanfar, Sales Manager at Advanced Technology Company Kuwait (the distributor for Getinge), were key participants in this enlightening journey.
